Your admission
Steps to be taken before any consultation, hospitalization and examination.
As soon as you arrive at HGOPED, a team will welcome you to the Central Hall 24/7. They are available to provide you with any necessary information and guide you within the establishment.
For any consultation, hospitalization or discharge, it is necessary to complete certain administrative formalities in order to guarantee medical coverage and the costs that it generates.
To carry out these formalities, a centralized reception area is at your disposal in the Central Hall. For this purpose, you must present:
- an identity document (CNI, Passport, Driver’s license)
- proof of a specific or one-off situation (Health Insurance Card, Mutual Insurance Card, Benefit voucher from an approved company, disability or indigence card).
You are admitted by emergency:
The formalities are kept to a minimum when you are admitted following an emergency. However, one of your relatives will have to present the necessary documents at the reception point as soon as possible in order to regularize your administrative file.
Your hospitalization
The healthcare team will inform you during an interview of the practical details of your hospitalization.
Your personal belongings
Remember to bring or have you bring your personal linen (bathrobe, towels and washcloths, slippers, etc.) as well as your toiletries. HGOPED only provides you with sheets and pajamas.
In Maternity and Pediatrics, consider the baby’s trousseau and the child’s linen, respectively.
Storage of your valuables and personal property
It is unwise to keep jewelry, money, cell phone, etc. with you. For safety reasons, we advise you to give these items to your family. If you wish to keep these items, HGOPED declines all responsibility in the event of loss, damage or theft.
